What are the qualifications to become a driver at Evolution?

  • 2+ Years Verifiable Driving Experience

  • Safe Driving Record

  • Valid CDL A License

  • Valid Medical Certificate 

  • No DUI Convictions in Last 5 Years

  • No in progress SAP candidates, only those who have completed

What type of drug screening is required?

Drivers are required to take a urine based test prior to beginning employment, random tests are conducted as required by law.

Will I have to take a new physical?

Possibly. If your previous physical expires within 3 months of  your hire date we will ask for you to complete a new one.       

When will I be eligible for benefits?

All Evolution drivers become eligible for medical & vacation benefits on the first of the month after their start date. Drivers earn 2 weeks paid vacation in their first year.

How much can I bring home in a week?

On average company drivers run 2,150 miles per week with a weekly salary of $1,300 and home every weekend. 

Drivers who choose our home every other weekend will average 2,750 miles per week at a weekly salary of $1,800 per week.

Can I take my truck home?

Yes, Evolution Express allows drivers with secure parking to take trucks home.

What do you need to bring on your first day with Evolution?

  1. Birth Certificate or SSN Card

  2. CDL & Medical Card

  3. Voided check for Direct Deposit

  4. Clothes for 5-7 days

  5. Bedding, pillow, and other creature comforts for the road.

  6. Standard PPE - Hardhat, Vest, Steel Toe Shoes

  7. Truck Based GPS System

What is Evolution's pet policy?

Company drivers are allowed to have certain types of pets in their trucks. Each request is reviewed and approved on an individual basis. Generally larger dogs are NOT permitted.

Does Evolution assign specific fuel stops?

We require you to stop at Pilot locations and provide recommended stops we prefer, but which Pilot and when you stop remains your decision.

What kind of truck will I be driving?

All Evolution drivers are in 2024 or newer Freightliner’s with inverter, APU, Microwave, and Fridges.

Will my truck have GPS and satellite radio?

The trucks are not equipped with either, but you can have that equipment installed.

Will my truck have an APU or Inverter?

Yes, all Evolution trucks are equipped with APU's & inverter systems. Even with an APU we do not restrict your ability to idle as you see fit.

What ELD system do you use?

Evolution trucks are equipped with MOTIVE (Keep Truckin) ELD systems. We do not have driver facing cameras in any truck.
